It\u2019s getting personal between\u00a0Megyn Kelly\u2019s lawyer Bryan Freedman<\/a> and NBC News boss Andy Lack, after Freedman called out Lack by name in a statement on Kelly\u2019s negotiations with the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, both camps are accusing the other of leaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Freedman issued a statement Tuesday after reports claimed that Kelly\u2019s looking to walk away with more money than is owed on her contract: \u201cOut of respect for the discussions, I am not going to share more details but any suggestion that Megyn is looking for more than her contract is untrue. This is clearly planted by NBC News to continue its mission to harm Megyn and gain some sort of leverage. It won\u2019t work. Andy Lack needs to stop.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NBC declined to comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But an insider fired back: \u201cThat\u2019s delusional, her attorney should look inside his camp for any leaks about the discussions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The source further told Page Six: \u201cThese are desperate attempts to distract from the main issue: Her offensive comments on live TV about blackface.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kelly\u2019s been in limbo<\/a> since Friday when NBC canceled her 9 a.m. show<\/a>, but she remains an employee, for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some reports have also speculated that Kelly\u2019s reluctant to sign a non-disclosure and non-disparagement agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\u2019s halfway through a three-year, $69 million deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, Lack told NBC staff in a meeting after Kelly\u2019s controversial comments on blackface<\/a>, \u201cThere is no other way to put this, but I condemn those remarks.
