BTW, he also talked to us about an alleged &#8220;slave contract&#8221; that he says was utilized for production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignwide has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED &#8212; 6:39 AM PT<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some reality stars have gone scorched earth against NBC and, it appears, in particular, Bravo &#8230; claiming its reality stars have been subjected to &#8220;grotesque and depraved mistreatment.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TMZ has obtained a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dam.tmz.com\/document\/0f\/o\/2023\/08\/04\/0f10157411e148848da1522b3ff6cdfa.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>letter<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;sent by attorneys Bryan Freedman<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Mark Geragos<\/strong>&nbsp;to NBC, claiming current and former cast and crew members of its reality shows have been tormented. Among the allegations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8212; Deliberate attempts to manufacture mental instability by plying cast members with alcohol while depriving them of food and sleep<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8212; Denying mental health treatment to cast members displaying obvious and alarming signs of mental deterioration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8212; Exploiting minors for uncompensated and sometimes long-term appearances on NBC reality TV shows<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8212; Distributing and\/or condoning the distribution of non-consensual pornography<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8212; Covering up acts of sexual violence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8212; Refusing to allow cast members the freedom to leave their shows, even under dire circumstances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The pornography claim is interesting &#8230; in the letter, the lawyers mention &#8220;distribution of revenge porn,&#8221; though they do not elaborate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The letter demands that NBC retain a slew of information, including &#8220;nonconsensual pornography in connection with cast members &#8230; [and] alleged sexual violence perpetrated by or against cast members &#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawyers claim NBC has &#8220;threatened [cast members] with ruin should they decide to speak out about their mistreatment.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe class=\"desktop mobile\" src=\"https:\/\/share.tmz.com\/watch\/2023-07-20-072023-bethenny-frankel-1653311-226\/\" width=\"560\" height=\"395\" frameBorder=\"0\" allowFullScreen><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>This aligns with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/people\/bethenny-frankel\/\"><strong>Bethenny Frankel<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s call to unionize reality stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We reached out to NBC for comment &#8230; so far, no word back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Originally Published &#8212; 6:39 AM PT<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UPDATE 12:03 PM PT&nbsp;&#8212; Attorney&nbsp;Bryan Freedman&nbsp;joined us on &#8220;TMZ Live&#8221; Friday, breaking down the allegations being made against the studios &#8230; and while he has about 15 people interested in the case, he says hundreds will come forward.
