Fox has not said what led to Carlson\u2019s departure, which came shortly after the network agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/alisondurkee\/2023\/04\/18\/fox-news-settles-dominion-defamation-case-for-7875-million-dominion-lawyer-says\/?sh=390f122b1509\">&nbsp;$787.5 million to settle<\/a>&nbsp;a defamation lawsuit, but it reportedly followed an investigation into his conduct.
