The pioneering gangsta rapper, known for penning songs such as \u201cAmerikkka\u2019s Most Wanted\u201d and \u201cArrest The President,\u201d was firing off tweet after tweet in the name of racial equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But amid his Twitter rampage, he was accused of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/id.56305\/title.what-the-hell-is-going-on-with-ice-cubes-twitter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">posting anti-Semitic<\/a>propaganda. In fact, The Daily Beast ran an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/ice-cubes-long-disturbing-history-of-anti-semitism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">entire expos\u00e9<\/a>&nbsp;about Cube\u2019s alleged anti-Semitic past, which didn\u2019t sit well with the N.W.A legend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday (June 30), Cube tweeted a screenshot of recently filed cease-and-desist letter from Freedman &amp; Taitelman Law Firm, which names writers Charlie Nash of Mediaite and Marlow Stern of The Daily Beast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He wrote in the caption, \u201cDon\u2019t play with me. This is just phase one.\u201d He also included a photo of Stern and added, \u201cThis is Marlow Stern, the punk that\u2019s out there pushing that poison.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<center><blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Don\u2019t play with me. This is just phase one. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/lawOTJxrVf\">https:\/\/t.co\/lawOTJxrVf<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cZHyx2oHe9\">pic.twitter.com\/cZHyx2oHe9<\/a><\/p>\u2014 Ice Cube (@icecube) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/icecube\/status\/1278090698051293184?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 30, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/center>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The letter firmly outlines&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/id.56319\/title.ice-cube-confirms-his-twitter-account-wasnt-hacked-continues-to-go-off\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cube\u2019s<\/a>&nbsp;demands, which include an apology and a retraction. It specifically addresses a 2015 incident where Cube&nbsp;was accused of assaulting a rabbi outside of the MGM casino in Detroit for wearing a yarmulke, resulting in a $2 million lawsuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cube took issue with both Nash and Stern\u2019s mention of the alleged incident in their respective articles and maintained his innocence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are disgusted that you each recklessly chose to publish this garbage,\u201d the letter reads. \u201cEnough is enough. During this time of national dialogue concerning the equality of Black Americans, you each made a conscious choice to fan the flames of hatred and division by repeating known, discredited lies and scurrilous claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The idea Cube is anti-Semitic is laughable, as anyone who knows this man can attest \u2026 we hereby demand immediate retractions and an apology to Ice Cube for the damage already done to his reputation.<\/p><cite><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.creativespikedigital.com\/lftc\/attorneys\/michael-a-taitelman\/\"><strong><strong>Ice Cube&#8217;s lawyer<\/strong><\/strong> <strong>Michael Taitelman of Freedman + Taitelman, LLP<\/strong><\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The situation spiraled into legal action after Stern injected himself into a recent Twitter conversation between Cube and CNN host Jake Tapper who had said Louis Farrakhan is \u201d a vile anti-LGBTQ anti-Semitic misogynist.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hiphopdx.com\/news\/id.37734\/title.ice-cube-describes-n-w-a-as-a-weapon-of-protest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cube<\/a>&nbsp;told Tapper to \u201cwatch his mouth,\u201d Stern hopped in the comment section, writing, \u201cIt is hard to give Ice Cube the benefit of the doubt given the fact that his anti-Semitic activities have extended beyond the realm of the internet. He\u2019s an ardent supporter of Louis Farrakhan, one of the world\u2019s most prominent anti-Semites, and, most troubling of all, the rapper and actor was accused in May 2015 of ordering his entourage to beat up a rabbi.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cube quickly addressed Stern\u2019s claim on Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe statement by Marlow Stern is a fuckin lie,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI never ordered my security to beat up anybody.
