{"id":10539,"date":"2009-03-26T18:07:00","date_gmt":"2009-03-27T01:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ftllp.net\/?p=10539"},"modified":"2024-11-03T16:07:00","modified_gmt":"2024-11-04T00:07:00","slug":"courtney-love-sued-by-designer-boudoir-queen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.creativespikedigital.com\/lftc\/news\/fashion\/courtney-love-sued-by-designer-boudoir-queen\/","title":{"rendered":"Courtney Love Sued by Designer &#8216;Boudoir Queen&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>LOS ANGELES (CN) &#8211; A fashion designer has filed a libel suit against singer Courtney Love for allegedly embarking on &#8220;an obsessive and delusional crusade to terrorize and destroy&#8221; her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dawn Simorangkir, who is also known at Dawn Younger-Smith and Boudoir Queen, claimed in a suit filed in Superior Court that she was guilty of nothing more than doing business with Love, who had approached her to design clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The allegedly false statements by Love included accusations that Simorangkir was a drug dealer and user, had committed a series of crimes including theft, assault, prostitution and embezzlement, was an unfit parent, a racist and a homophobe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the suit, Love first became angry with the plaintiff in Februrary after being billed for her work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The complaint was filed by <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.creativespikedigital.com\/lftc\/attorneys\/bryan-j-freedman\/\">Bryan Freedman of Freedman &amp; Taitelman.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LOS ANGELES (CN) &#8211; A fashion designer has filed a libel suit against singer Courtney Love for allegedly embarking on &#8220;an obsessive and delusional crusade to terrorize and destroy&#8221; her.
