He represented UTA in a dispute with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.creativespikedigital.com\/lftc\/category\/ftllp-opponents\/barry-sonnenfeld\/\">Barry Sonnenfeld<\/a><\/strong> over commissions on the director\u2019s 2010 agreement to direct Men in Black III and recently sued ex-UTA client <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.creativespikedigital.com\/lftc\/category\/ftllp-opponents\/donald-faison\/\">Donald Faison<\/a><\/strong> for commissions. And he\u2019s repping <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.creativespikedigital.com\/lftc\/category\/ftllp_clients\/christopher-nolan\/\">Christopher Nolan<\/a><\/strong> in a dispute over whether CAA or WME is entitled to commissions from The Dark Knight Rises because Nolan fired the former to join the latter before the movie came out. Next, he\u2019s going up against producer <strong>Joe Roth<\/strong> over credit and backend ownership on the FX series Anger Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Key case:<\/strong><\/em> Freedman also represented TV Line\u2019s parent in a law- suit against THR\u2019s owner over website coding (it settled).
