The actress claims she should not pay 10 percent of her income from the NBC show to Evolution Entertainment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kate Walsh<\/strong> plays a judge on her new NBC show, and now she’s looking for a little real-life judicial help in a new lawsuit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walsh, the former Grey’s Anatomy<\/em> and Private Practice <\/em>star, has sued her former managers at Evolution Entertainment for allegedly trying to extract a commission for her work on NBC’s Bad Judge<\/em> despite having been fired more than a year ago. Walsh is now represented by Untitled Entertainment for management (as well as CAA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The complaint<\/a>, filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by The Hollywood Reporter,<\/em> asks a judge to intervene in the dispute over Walsh’s management contract with Evolution, which called for her to pay 10 percent of her income from the show to the company.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ms. Walsh believes she that she should not be responsible to pay Evolution all, or any part, of the commissions demanded, and seeks guidance from this court to determine the proper amount, if any, that she should pay to Evolution,” states the lawsuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walsh and her Kitty Likes to Scratch Productions are represented by\u00a0Bryan Freedman<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Steven Stiglitz<\/strong>\u00a0at Freedman & Taitelman in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A rep for Evolution declined to comment on the suit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
