Other people heard it too, including her former manager who came roaring in like Cookie Lyon to claim a piece of that empire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Seven Summits Pictures & Management filed a complaint in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday saying the company represented Deschanel from 1996 until 2013 – the time she went from an unknown to the acting, Grammy-nominated explosion of cute we know today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seven Summits claims entitlement to 10 percent of all her earnings for entertainment activities, including money from the website, New Girl and a Tommy Hilfiger campaign. Deschanel’s reps have yet to respond but a defense is likely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
